Now the pension process has been made very easy with the Digital Life Certificate. Under the new rule, people will now have the option to submit a life certificate sitting at home.
Biometric-based DLC is accepted by EPFO. To get a life certificate, the pensioner does not have to visit any bank, post office, or common service center. This facility of the Employees' Provident Fund Organization is being used in large numbers. The number of pensioners submitting DLC based on facial authentication technology has now increased to 6.6 lakh.
