IAF Vacancy 2026: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has made a significant announcement for engineering students. Candidates can now apply for officer positions in the Technical Branch using their GATE scores. These candidates will not be required to take the AFCAT written examination.

The Indian Air Force has released the AFCAT 02/2026 notification. According to this notification, GATE scores will now be accepted for recruitment into the Technical Branch. Such candidates will be exempted from the written examination and will undergo direct selection. However, the AFCAT examination will continue to be conducted for other branches, just as before.
