Coinciding with the launch of this major project, an e-bus service will also be introduced in Noida on the very same day to further enhance the city's connectivity. This initiative has been undertaken specifically with passengers traveling to and from the airport in mind, aiming to provide them with an affordable and comfortable mode of transport. The commencement of the e-bus service will make commuting to the airport from Noida, Greater Noida, and surrounding areas significantly easier. Let's take a look at the essential details, including the routes and fares...
**Bus Routes and Fares**
According to a report by *The Times of India*, the e-bus service will connect Noida with Greater Noida and the surrounding areas of Greater Noida West. A key highlight of this service is that the maximum fare for these buses will be capped at ₹30, thereby ensuring affordable travel for the public. A total of 100 buses will be deployed for this service, including 10 double-decker buses. Furthermore, these buses will cover a daily distance of approximately 200 kilometers and will operate across five distinct routes. All bus services will originate from the Botanical Garden in Noida. From there, the buses will proceed to Gaur Chowk and Ek Murti (Greater Noida West), Noida International Airport, Sector 62, the Surajpur Collectorate, and extend up to Anand Vihar or Ghaziabad. However, complete details regarding the fares for all specific routes have not yet been released.
**Who Will Operate the Buses?**
As per *The Times of India* report, this bus service will be operated by the UPSRTC (Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation), while the Noida Authority will provide the necessary financial support for the project. Meanwhile, the recruitment process has already commenced to hire approximately 300 personnel—comprising drivers and conductors—to operate these buses.
**Depot to be Built in Sector 90**
The Noida Authority is currently constructing a depot in Sector 90, which will serve as the designated facility for parking and charging these e-buses. Charging facilities for buses, service stations, and workshops for drivers and conductors are also being constructed here to ensure that the bus service operates smoothly.
