DU PG Admission 2026: The University of Delhi has launched the application process for PG admissions. Under the National Education Policy (NEP), the university has introduced both one-year and two-year Master’s degree programs. Interested candidates can apply online through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.

Applications Open Until June 7

According to the notification issued by the university, the application process for two-year postgraduate programs began on May 16, 2026. Students will be able to submit their online applications until 11:59 PM on June 7, 2026. The entire admission process will be conducted through the CSAS portal. Students are advised to submit their applications before the deadline.

Admission Based on CUET PG Scores

DU has clarified that all admissions will be granted solely on the basis of CUET PG 2026 scores. Students currently pursuing the third or fourth year of their undergraduate studies are eligible to apply. However, candidates must fulfill the specific eligibility criteria for the respective courses and must appear for the relevant subject examination in CUET PG 2026.

Separate Portal for One-Year PG Programs

The university has stated that the application process for the one-year PG programs, introduced under the NEP framework, will be conducted through a separate portal. A separate notification regarding this will be issued subsequently. Students currently pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree (Honours with Research or Entrepreneurship) will be eligible for these courses.

Application Fee Details

Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwBD categories are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹100 per program. Meanwhile, the application fee for students belonging to the UR, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories has been fixed at ₹250 per program.

DigiLocker Feature to Streamline the Process

This year, to simplify the admission process, Delhi University has also introduced a DigiLocker/API Setu-based auto-integration facility. Through this system, information such as the student’s name, date of birth, category, gender, parents’ names, and CUET scores can be retrieved automatically.

Students Advised to Monitor the Website

The University has advised candidates to regularly check the official portal for all essential information and schedule updates related to admissions. This will ensure that they receive timely updates regarding the application process and counseling. For further details, candidates may refer to the official website.
