Documents Complete, e-KYC Done—Yet the 22nd Installment of 'Kisan Nidhi' Hasn't Arrived? Here's Where to File a Complaint
PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Installment: Even after completing all formalities, the 22nd installment of the 'Kisan Nidhi' (Farmer Fund) remains stuck. Learn the reasons why this might happen and where to file a complaint to ensure the funds reach your account quickly.
PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Installment: The government operates numerous schemes for the country's farmers, the benefits of which accrue directly to them. Specifically for the nation's poor and needy farmers, the government runs the 'PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana,' under which an annual sum of ₹6,000 is disbursed through three installments. The 22nd installment of the PM Kisan scheme was released on March 13th, and crores of beneficiaries successfully received their ₹2,000 share.
However, there are some farmers whose funds remain stuck to this day. Notably, many of these individuals had completed their e-KYC on time and had also updated their Farmer IDs. Consequently, a question arises in their minds: why haven't the funds been credited to their accounts despite everything being in order? If you find yourself in this situation, there is no need to panic. Here is how you can file a complaint.
What Could Be the Reasons for the Installment Getting Stuck?
Often, minor errors become the cause for an installment being withheld. The most common reason is discrepancies in bank details—such as an incorrect account number or IFSC code. Additionally, if the e-KYC for your bank account is incomplete, the funds may get stuck. Providing incorrect information during the land verification process can also be a contributing factor. Furthermore, if you have secured a job or have fallen within the income tax bracket, you are no longer eligible for this scheme. The installment may also be withheld if you hold a government job or are receiving a substantial pension.
How to File a Complaint
If none of the issues mentioned above apply to your situation, yet you still haven't received the funds, you should now proceed to file a direct complaint. To facilitate this, the government has issued dedicated helpline numbers. You can call 155261 or 011-24300606 to report your issue. Additionally, you can also register a complaint by sending an email to pmkisan-ict@gov.in.
When sending the email, please clearly state your name, registration number, Aadhaar number, and the complete nature of the issue so that your complaint can be quickly understood and resolved. At times, the disbursement of funds may take a little longer due to system updates or delays in the verification process.
How to Check Your Status from Home
You can also check the status of your installment yourself from the comfort of your home. To do this, first visit the official PM Kisan website. Click on the 'Login' option there and enter your details. After logging in, you will find the 'Beneficiary Status' option within the 'Farmer Corner' section. Click on this option and fill in the required details, such as your State, District, and Village. Once submitted, your complete status will be displayed before you. This will clearly indicate when your installment is expected to arrive or why it is currently pending. This will make it easier for you to understand the current status of your application.
