Delhi Zoo: There is good news for visitors to the Delhi Zoo. In fact, an app has been launched to facilitate visits to the Delhi Zoo, named the "NZP Saathi–Delhi Zoo App." With the launch of this app, locating specific animals within the vast National Zoological Park—or the zoo—has become as simple as navigating via a mobile device. This mobile application is designed to streamline and enhance the visitor experience at the zoo. With its assistance, visitors can explore the entire zoo independently—without the need for a human guide—access information about the animals, and locate various other amenities.

For first-time visitors, this app serves as a digital companion. It allows you to easily locate animal enclosures, as well as identify nearby dining spots or water facilities. A standout feature of this app is its "AI Guide Box," which answers your queries in real-time. For instance, if you ask, "Where is the Asiatic Lion?", the app will provide the exact distance to its location and display the route to get there.

**Features Offered by the NZP Saathi–Delhi Zoo App**
The app features a 2D digital map that displays the real-time locations of all animals and birds housed within the zoo. It also indicates the precise distance of these animals from your current location. By navigating to the "Explore" section of the app, users can access detailed information about various animals—including their species, age, physical characteristics, dietary habits, and interesting trivia. To further simplify the visit, the app includes a "Plan My Visit" option, which offers a selection of curated routes:

**Express Tour:** A short route spanning approximately 3 kilometers, designed to be completed within 1–2 hours, covering over 30 different animals.

**Family Tour:** A route lasting 2–3 hours, covering a distance of approximately 6 kilometers, which includes over 45 different animals. Explorer Tour (Green Route) — A major route spanning 7–8 kilometers, featuring 10 stops where you can observe over 60 different animal species.

In addition to information about the animals, this app also provides details regarding the amenities available within the zoo. In the "Amenities" section, you can easily locate facilities such as entry and exit gates, 10 restrooms, drinking water points, 13 buggy stops, 5 food courts, buggy booking centers, first aid stations, infant feeding areas, and an education center. You can also book tickets online through this app. Available in both Hindi and English, the app also provides information regarding the zoo's operating hours, ticket rates, and regulations.
