New Delhi Metro Station Closed: The DMRC has taken a major decision due to the protest by the 'Cockroach Janata Party' in Delhi. The DMRC has shut down the New Delhi Metro Station until further notice. Furthermore, interchange facilities at the station will also be unavailable. Consequently, passengers traveling via Indian Railways will face significant inconvenience. The key issue is how to reach the New Delhi Railway Station now.

How to reach New Delhi Railway Station now?

Book a cab or take an auto-rickshaw

If the metro is not an option, you can book a ride via Ola, Uber, or Rapido directly from your home or office to the New Delhi Railway Station. If you reside in Noida or Ghaziabad, taking the Delhi-Noida Direct (DND) Flyway or the Ring Road route could save you 30 to 40 minutes.

DTC and Cluster buses

It is worth noting that Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses operate throughout Delhi. You can also reach the New Delhi Railway Station by taking a DTC or Cluster bus. Board a bus heading towards Shivaji Stadium, Ajmeri Gate, or Paharganj; from there, you can reach the railway station on foot or by taking an e-rickshaw.

Moreover, if you are near other railway stations in or around Delhi—such as...

Hazrat Nizamuddin
Anand Vihar
or Old Delhi Railway Station

...you can take a local passenger or EMU train from there to reach the New Delhi Railway Station.
