Danapur-Jogbani Vande Bharat Express, Timetable
The Danapur-Jogbani Vande Bharat Express train will depart from Danapur at 5:10 pm and reach Jogbani at 1:20 am, stopping at several major stations. The train will depart from Jogbani at 3:25 am and arrive in Danapur at 11:30 am. Along the way, the train will stop at major stations such as Forbesganj, Purnia, Madhepura, Saharsa, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, and Hajipur. However, initial bookings have been very low since the train's inauguration. According to reports, only 29 people booked tickets in two days. A major reason for this is said to be the fare, which is higher than that of regular trains.
Vande Bharat Express is available in two classes for travel between Danapur and Jogbani. The chair car fare is ₹1320 and the executive class fare is ₹2375. This fare is slightly higher than that of regular passenger trains. The Jogbani to Danapur train departs from Jogbani in the morning, passes through Forbesganj, Purnia, Saharsa, Madhepura, and Samastipur, and arrives in Danapur around 11:00 pm. On its inaugural day, the train was delayed by approximately three hours. It departed from Jogbani and arrived in Danapur at 3:15 am instead of 11:40 pm.
