Danapur Jogbani Vande Bharat Express: In a major gift to the people of Bihar, the Vande Bharat Express has now launched between Danapur and Jogbani. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this high-speed train. This train will connect the Seemanchal and Kosi regions with the capital Patna. This will be particularly beneficial to those who previously had to travel for hours to reach the capital.

Danapur-Jogbani Vande Bharat Express, Timetable

The Danapur-Jogbani Vande Bharat Express train will depart from Danapur at 5:10 pm and reach Jogbani at 1:20 am, stopping at several major stations. The train will depart from Jogbani at 3:25 am and arrive in Danapur at 11:30 am. Along the way, the train will stop at major stations such as Forbesganj, Purnia, Madhepura, Saharsa, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, and Hajipur. However, initial bookings have been very low since the train's inauguration. According to reports, only 29 people booked tickets in two days. A major reason for this is said to be the fare, which is higher than that of regular trains.

Vande Bharat Express is available in two classes for travel between Danapur and Jogbani. The chair car fare is ₹1320 and the executive class fare is ₹2375. This fare is slightly higher than that of regular passenger trains. Consequently, bookings were very low in the first two days, with only 29 tickets sold, despite the chair car having a total of 419 seats.

It then travels via Samastipur, Saharsa, and Madhepura, reaching Patna shortly after, and arrives at Jogbani around 7 pm. The Jogbani to Danapur train departs from Jogbani in the morning, passes through Forbesganj, Purnia, Saharsa, Madhepura, and Samastipur, and arrives in Danapur around 11:00 pm. On its inaugural day, the train was delayed by approximately three hours. It departed from Jogbani and arrived in Danapur at 3:15 am instead of 11:40 pm. This month, the Railways introduced several new trains for passengers from Bihar and North India.

Erode-Jogbani Amrut Bharat Express 16601 - Departing from Erode every Thursday at 08:10 AM from 25th September, will reach DDU at 05:35 AM, Patliputra at 09:30 AM, Hajipur at 10:25 AM, Barauni at 12:10 PM, Katihar at 16:05 PM, Purnia at 16:40 PM, Araria Court at 17:13 PM, Forbesganj at around 18:00 PM and Jogbani at around 19:00 PM.

After this, it will reach Erode at 07.20 after stopping at Forbesganj at 15.33 hrs, Araria Court at 16.03 hrs, Purnia at 16.35 hrs, Katihar at 17.40 hrs, Barauni at 21.30 hrs, Hajipur at 23.45 hrs, Patliputra at 00.50 hrs on Monday, DDU at 05.15 hrs and other stations. 3.
