Madhya Pradesh DA Hike: Before Diwali, the government gave the gift of a DA hike to the state employees of Madhya Pradesh. CM Mohan Yadav, while wishing Diwali to the state government employees, on Monday announced an increase in Dearness Allowance (DA Hike). CM Yadav said that it is the responsibility of the government to take care of the employees of the state. MP Chief Minister Dr. Yadav wrote in a social media post, "Dear people of Madhya Pradesh, on this auspicious occasion of Diwali, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the employees of the Madhya Pradesh government. I am happy to inform you that we have decided to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 4%, which will increase the current DA payable from 46% to 50%. Dearness Allowance will be given to the government servants at the rate of 50% as of January 1, 2024. The arrears will be paid in four equal installments in this financial year. Earlier, the increased rate of dearness allowance was made effective from July 01, 2023, the arrears of which have also been paid in installments."
