Cold Wave Grips Uttar Pradesh: School Timings Changed in Several Areas
A severe cold wave continues to affect almost every state in India, including Uttar Pradesh. Due to the extreme cold in Rampur, the operating hours for schools up to class 8 have been changed.
The cold wave is reaching its peak in almost every part of the country. Several areas are experiencing biting cold. The Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh is also experiencing a severe cold spell. Considering the intense cold in the district, the operating hours for classes 1 to 8 have been changed. An official order has also been issued in this regard. Information has also been shared through a post on the social media platform X from the handle @RampurDm.
According to the issued order, all government, secondary, and aided schools, and all schools affiliated with various boards, for classes 1 to 8 will now open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The order has been issued by the District Basic Education Officer.

Order
The issued order states, "Considering the low morning temperatures and dense fog in the district, and keeping in mind the health of the children, as per the instructions of the District Magistrate, Rampur, the operating hours for all government, secondary, and aided schools, and all schools affiliated with various boards, for classes 1 to 8 are being revised to 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Ensure strict compliance with this order."
Schools in Noida and Ghaziabad operating in Hybrid Mode
Schools in Noida and Ghaziabad are operating in a hybrid mode. Classes up to class 5 are being conducted online, while classes 6th to 9th and 11th are operating in a hybrid mode. In Ghaziabad, all classes except 10th and 12th have been ordered to operate in a hybrid mode. This step has been taken in view of the rising pollution levels in the Delhi-NCR region. Schools in the national capital are also operating in a hybrid mode. Due to the deteriorating air quality in Delhi, GRAP-IV is in effect, and all schools are operating in a hybrid mode for classes up to the 9th and 11th grades. The directive to conduct classes in a hybrid format was recently issued by the Directorate of Education.
