CM Yogi's Big Decision: Age Limit Relaxation for Candidates in Police Recruitment for 32,679 Posts

CM Yogi has granted an age limit relaxation in the direct recruitment for the UP Police and Jail Department. A government order has been issued in this regard.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has granted an age limit relaxation to candidates in the direct recruitment for the UP Police and Jail Department. A 3-year age relaxation (from 22 years to 25 years) has been given in the direct recruitment for the UP Police and Jail Department. A total of 32,679 posts are to be filled through this recruitment drive, including Constable, PAC, Special Security Force, Women's Battalion, and Jail Warder positions. A government order has been issued in this regard.

This important decision has been taken in the interest of the candidates. According to the issued government order, this 3-year age relaxation will be granted to candidates of all categories participating in the recruitment process, on a one-time basis.

In this regard, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has also shared a post on the social media platform X from his official handle @myogiadityanath. The post reads, "The welfare of the youth of the state is our top priority." It further states, "It has been decided to provide a 3-year relaxation in the prescribed maximum age limit for candidates of all categories under the direct recruitment-2025 for a total of 32,679 Constable Civil Police and equivalent posts in the UP Police. This decision is a symbol of respect for the aspirations and hard work of millions of youth of Uttar Pradesh."
