CM Nitish Kumar handed over appointment letters to newly appointed policemen, more than 21 thousand got appointment letter.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar handed over appointment letters to more than 21 thousand newly appointed policemen today i.e. on 28 June 2025. In this program, appointment letters were handed over to 21,391 newly appointed policemen. This program was organized at Bapu Auditorium in Patna. During this, many dignitaries including Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha were present along with CM Nitish Kumar. Top police officials were also present in this program. In this program, the newly appointed policemen also took oath after taking the appointment letter.

After handing over the appointment letter, the Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar also addressed the newly appointed police personnel. During this, Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha also addressed the newly appointed police personnel.

'Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed policemen from my side'

The CM also posted a post in this regard on the social media platform X. In the post, the Chief Minister wrote, "Today I attended the appointment letter distribution ceremony of 21,391 newly appointed constables in Bapu Auditorium. Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the newly appointed policemen from my side. I believe that all the newly appointed policemen will perform their duties with full devotion and honesty and will further strengthen the law and order in the state. This will also ensure a better and safer environment for the people of the state."

'All posts will be filled by the end of this year'

"For this, more than 2 lakh 29 thousand posts have been created and policemen are being reinstated rapidly. All the posts will be filled by the end of this year as per the approved force. This will provide employment opportunities to the youth of the state and will also increase the Bihar Police Force."
