Users will no longer need to go to the sticker pack and select stickers during a chat. As soon as you type an emoji in the message box, related stickers will automatically pop up. This will make conversations more fun and allow people to express themselves without typing.

This feature is already available on Android

According to reports, this feature will be rolled out first for iPhone users. A glimpse of it was seen in the iOS 26.1.10.72 beta update. Now, as soon as a user types an emoji in the chat box, WhatsApp will suggest matching stickers. Users will be able to send the sticker with a single tap. This feature is already available on Android, and now preparations are underway to roll it out for iPhones.

The option to add a profile cover photo will also be available

Along with stickers, iPhone users will now also get the option to add a profile cover image on WhatsApp. Like other platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, a special spot will be added above the WhatsApp profile picture. Here you can upload a photo from your gallery or camera. Once the image is set, other contacts will be able to see it on your profile. This feature is currently being tested and will be rolled out to users in the next few days. It's worth noting that this feature is already available on WhatsApp Business. Business accounts can already set their cover image. Now, preparations are underway to roll out this feature for regular users as well.
