ChatGPT: No one else can read your conversation with ChatGPT, adopt this method for your safety..

Whether you're asking ChatGPT fun questions or having a serious conversation, your conversations can sometimes include personal information. Although ChatGPT doesn't share your conversations with anyone by default, some settings and features can make some parts of your chat visible, especially if you don't use the share option carefully.
There have been many cases where shared conversations started appearing on search engines like Google. So if privacy is important to you, it's better to take a few minutes to update your settings.
Use ChatGPT's incognito mode:
To give users more control, OpenAI has introduced the 'Chat History & Training' setting. This is similar to ChatGPT's incognito mode. When you turn it off, your conversations are no longer used to train the AI model and are automatically deleted after 30 days.
How to turn it off:
Log in to your ChatGPT account.
Click on the profile icon (bottom-left corner on desktop).
Select Settings.
Go to Show Data Controls.
Turn off Chat History & Training.
Note that even if you turn it off, your conversations are not deleted immediately, but are stored for 30 days for safety and moderation.
Shared Links can also become a problem.
ChatGPT has a built-in Share button that makes a public link to your conversation. If you have ever used it, you may have inadvertently made your chat visible on the Internet, especially if you have selected the 'Make this chat discoverable' option.
Search engines used to index some of these shared chats, which contained personal things like mental health and career. Now, OpenAI has turned off the discoverability option, but if you have ever shared links before, it would be better to delete them. How to remove shared links:
Go to Settings > Data Controls.
Click Manage next to Shared Links.
Review your shared chats and delete the ones you don't want.
OpenAI has clarified that your conversations are not legally protected or confidential. In some rare cases, such as legal investigation, your chats may be shared as per the law. So if you are talking on a sensitive topic, it would be wise to turn off Chat History and avoid sharing links. Being a little cautious now can prevent big problems in the future.
