RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said that the UPI transaction limit in hospitals and educational institutions is now being increased from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. RBI has proposed to increase the limit of UPI auto payment (UPI Transaction limit).

Only hospitals and educational institutions can take advantage of this update issued by the Reserve Bank of India. At these places, you can do cash transactions up to Rs 5 lakh using UPI.
Doing this will promote the use of UPI. People will be able to easily pay the fees of hospitals schools and colleges through UPI. The Reserve Bank of India has not made any changes regarding the repo rate.
The Reserve Bank has kept the repo rate constant at 6.5 percent. With this decision of RBI, people's expectations regarding cheap loans have been dashed.
