If you want to do your business in Noida and want to get land for it, then this news can prove to be useful for you. Noida Authority has decided to launch an industrial plot scheme soon under a new policy to support businesses in the MSME sector. The move is in line with the Uttar Pradesh government's directive of December 26, 2024, in which Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna Expressway authorities were directed to standardize their allotment policies and obtain board approval.

In Phase 1, the authority will offer 17 plots ranging from 200 square meters (sqm) to 7,500 sqm and allot them through an e-auction process. We have decided to bring this scheme so that businessmen looking for small plots can get land to set up their units in the city. Owning a plot is a great opportunity for a businessman in this scheme.

Plots will be available in this sector.

The authority will allot around 60,000 sqm of industrial land, and these plots are located in Sectors 7, 8, 10, 62, 80, and 164 of Noida. Most of the paperwork has already been completed and the authority is working on identifying more vacant plots in other areas for plans. The initiative is expected to provide small and medium business owners a valuable opportunity to expand their operations in Noida, an official aware of the matter said.

This policy change comes after a joint board meeting of the Noida and Greater Noida authorities last month, where the revised industrial plot allotment policy was approved.

This is how you will get the plot.

Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, who also serves as UP Industrial Development Commissioner, had stressed the importance of a clear and transparent process for industrial plot allotment. During the joint board meeting (held in December, 2024), both the authorities formally adopted the government's policy.

As per the terms and conditions of the e-auction, interested buyers are required to first deposit 10% of the reserve price of the plot to participate in the e-auction. If successful, they have to pay 30% of the total cost immediately, while the remaining amount can be paid in installments over a stipulated period.
