Institutes granting PM Research Fellowship get 1.5% of the existing PhD student strength as PMRF seats on 1 May of the respective year. If the total PMRF seat requirement for a particular year is more than 1000, it is proportionalized in percentage, so that the total seat requirement does not exceed 1000.
