Budget 2025: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the Budget 2025 and many big announcements are being made in it.
Budget 2025: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the Budget 2025 in the Parliament and here are the initial big announcements under it. While approving the budget, in the cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this is a budget of new hopes for the common man.
Know what are the initial announcements of the Finance Minister's budget:-
A plan has been made to open a urea plant in eastern India. It has been announced in the budget that a 1.27 lakh tonne urea plant will be opened in Namrup, Assam.
A 5-year mission will be launched to increase cotton production.
Farmers will be given proper compensation for farming. The limit of the Kisan Credit Card has been increased to Rs 5 lakh. The credit guarantee for MSMEs has been increased to 10 lakhs. About 7.5 crore people have got employment through 1 crore MSMEs. 10 lakh credit cards will be launched for MSMEs.
Special incentives have been announced for the toy industry.
Rs 500 crore is being allocated for AI education and AI excellence centers will be set up. 6500 seats will be increased in IITs and three AI centers will be opened. Apart from this, 7500 seats will be increased in medical colleges in 5 years.
The startup credit guarantee has been increased to 20 lakhs.
A support system will be established for non-leather shoes.
A National Manufacturing Mission will be launched through which manufacturing projects will be run between the central and state governments. Clean technology will be promoted in the manufacturing mission.
Udaan scheme has been announced for 120 new places and a target has been set to add 4 crore new passengers through the Udaan scheme. New field airports will be opened in Bihar and helipads will be built along with small airports in hilly areas.
Emphasis will be laid on increasing medical tourism in collaboration with the private sector.
Nirmala Sitharaman made big announcements for gig workers in the budget and under this, 1 crore gig workers will get social security. They will be registered on the e-shram portal.
