Benefits of PM Kisan Yojana

Under the PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farmer families across the country receive Rs 6,000 annually in three installments every four months through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

More than 11 crore farmers across the country have received payments of more than Rs 3.04 lakh crore so far; with this distribution, the total amount paid to beneficiaries since the inception of the program will exceed Rs 3.24 lakh crore.

Let us tell you, that the first file on which Narendra Modi signed after becoming the Prime Minister for the third time was for the release of the 17th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. The benefit of the 17th installment was received by 9.3 crore farmers. In this installment, about Rs 20,000 crore was sent directly to the accounts of farmers through DBT.

PM Modi said in a statement that our government is fully committed to farmer welfare. Therefore, it is appropriate that the first file signed after taking charge should be related to farmer welfare. We want to do even more work for farmers and the agriculture sector in the coming times.
