The Border Security Force (BSF) has released a recruitment notification for a total of 549 vacant Constable GD posts under the sports quota.  10th pass candidates with a sports background can apply. Learn about the application process.

The BSF has announced a major recruitment drive for sportspersons. This recruitment is under the sports quota, and players who have performed well in sports at the national or state level can apply. Candidates can apply by filling out the online form on the official website.

This BSF recruitment is for players who have participated at the state, national, or international level in a recognized sport. This recruitment is for 549 Constable GD posts under the sports quota.

To apply, candidates must have passed the 10th standard. The age limit is 18 to 23 years, while candidates from reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government rules.

Players from sports such as athletics, football, hockey, kabaddi, wrestling, boxing, judo, archery, shooting, badminton, table tennis, and volleyball can apply for this recruitment.  Candidates must possess a valid sports certificate.

Candidates will be selected based on sports trials. This will be followed by a physical test, document verification, and a medical examination. Only candidates who complete all stages successfully will be offered the job.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 under Pay Level 3 for the Constable GD post.  They will also receive other government allowances and benefits.
