BPSC 71st Prelims Exam 2025: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has completed preparations for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025. The commission has issued information and informed that the preliminary examination will be held on September 13. Admit cards for the candidates appearing in this exam will be issued on Friday, September 6. Candidates will be able to download it from the official website of the commission bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
The exam will be held in two shifts
The BPSC 71st preliminary exam will be conducted at various examination centers across the state. The exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift will run from 2 pm to 5 pm. A total of 1264 posts are to be recruited through this exam, which includes various prestigious posts including DSP, SDM.
Important instructions for candidates
The commission has issued a notice and clarified that it is mandatory for all the candidates to reach the examination center by 11 am. No candidate will be allowed entry after 11:05 am. After sitting on the seat, the process of biometric verification and facial recognition of the candidates will be completed. This process is necessary to appear in the exam.
Selection process
Candidates who pass the prelims exam will get a chance to appear in the main exam. At the same time, those who successfully pass the mains exam will be called for interview. The final selection will be done on the basis of merit list, which will include the marks of mains and interview. The selected candidates will be appointed in various departments including Education, Revenue, Home, Finance, Social Welfare and State Election Commission.
