These schemes are part of the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), which aims to provide support to poor families in old age, illness, or after the death of the head of the family. 5 Government Pension Schemes
What is the name of the scheme? What are the benefits?

Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme: ₹200 per month for poor elderly people aged 60 years and above. ₹500 per month for those aged 80 and above.
Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme: ₹300 per month for poor widowed women aged 40 to 79. ₹500 per month for widows aged 80 and above
Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme: ₹300 per month for poor people aged 18 to 79 with severe or multiple disabilities. ₹500 per month for those aged 80 and above.
National Family Benefit Scheme: A one-time assistance of ₹20,000 to the family upon the death of the earning head of a BPL family (aged 18 to 59).
Annapurna Scheme: 10 kg of free grain per month for elderly people (65 years or older) who are eligible for IGNOAPS but are unable to receive their pension for some reason.

How to Apply?
Apply Online
You can visit the UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance) app or website (https://web.umang.gov.in/).

Log in there or create your account.

Search for NSAP in the search bar.

Click on 'Apply Online' and apply by filling in the required information.

Offline Application
You can also fill out the application form for these schemes by visiting the Gram Panchayat or Municipal Corporation offices.

Applications can also be made at the state government's nodal department or the office of the District Social Welfare Officer.
