Annual Fastag Pass Rules: After selling an old car, can the annual Fastag pass attached to it be transferred? Or will you have to cancel it and get a new pass? Know the important thing.

Annual Fastag pass has started in the country from tomorrow i.e. 15th August. Traveling on expressway highways will become much easier and economical through Annual Fastag. Its validity will be for 1 year. In which you will get 200 trips.

The price of the annual Fastag pass will be Rs 3000. You will be able to use it for 1 year. Within which you will be able to go and come from the toll 200 times i.e. you will get 200 trips. One year time or 200 trips, whichever is completed first, will be valid.

In such a situation, many people are having many questions in their minds about the Fastag pass. Many people also have this question in their minds, if someone has taken a Fastag pass for 1 year. But he has to sell his car after 6 months or he wants to sell it.

So can he transfer the annual Fastag pass to another vehicle? So let us tell you that this cannot be done. Because the Fastag pass is linked to the Fastag of your vehicle. In such a situation, when you sell the vehicle. Then the old Fastag has to be closed.

This happens because the registration of Fastag is done with only one vehicle. It cannot be transferred. Now when your Fastag cannot be transferred. Then the annual pass linked to it also cannot be transferred. That means you will have to close it too.

However, if there is any balance in your Fastag pass. Suppose you have completed 100 trips in 6 months. So in such a situation you can get a refund according to the remaining 100 trips and 6 months validity. However, there is no clear rule for this.

For this, you will have to get information by calling the helpline related to National Highway Authority of India or by mail. Take any decision only after getting complete information. Otherwise you may suffer loss.
