Book a DTC bus ticket like this with the help of WhatsApp, know the easy process here
Booking DTC bus tickets through WhatsApp has now become convenient. You don't need to wander around download any apps or visit websites. This service is currently available only in the Delhi-NCR region and for same-day travel but you cannot book in advance. You can book a maximum of 6 tickets at a time.
To book DTC bus tickets through WhatsApp, simply scan the QR code or send 'Hi' to +918744073223. You will be asked to choose your preferred language between English and Hindi. After selecting your language select the 'Book Ticket' option then click on the given link. This link redirects you to a page where you have to enter details including destination and route.
After filling in your travel details, click on 'Continue' and choose your payment method, either pay through UPI or pay through other methods. Once you select your payment method, you will be redirected back to the WhatsApp chat. Click on 'Pay now' to proceed with payment. You can make payments through WhatsApp Pay or other UPI apps.
Once payment is verified, your bus ticket will be delivered to your WhatsApp chat shortly.
It is worth noting that no ID proof is required to book DTC bus tickets through WhatsApp. A convenience fee of approximately 0.2% is charged for bookings. Additional charges apply if payment is made through a debit or credit card, whereas there are no additional charges for UPI payments.
