Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria

According to the advertisement issued by the Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court, recruitment will be conducted for a total of 18 posts. One of these posts is reserved for a differently-abled candidate. To be eligible for the cook position, a candidate must have passed at least the 4th grade. Candidates with higher qualifications—such as 10th or 12th-grade education—are also eligible to apply. If a candidate does not possess a 4th-grade mark sheet, there is a provision to enter an estimated score of 50% for the 4th-grade level in the application. Additionally, candidates must possess reading, writing, and speaking proficiency in both Hindi and Marathi. They must also be skilled in preparing both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine.

Salary Up to ₹52,000

Candidates selected for the position of cook at the Bombay High Court will receive a salary in accordance with the 7th Pay Commission’s Matrix Level S-3. The salary range for these positions is ₹16,600 to ₹52,400. In addition to the basic salary, other government allowances will be provided as per the rules. Candidates applying for these posts must be between 18 and 38 years of age. The maximum age limit for the backward class category is set at 23 years. Additionally, existing court or government employees may apply subject to prescribed conditions.

Selection based on 50 marks

The selection process will be based on a total of 50 marks. The cooking practical test is the most crucial component, carrying 30 marks; candidates must secure a minimum of 15 marks in this test to qualify. This will be followed by a physical fitness test (10 marks) and an oral interview (10 marks). Candidates who do not succeed in the cooking practical test will not be eligible to participate in the subsequent stages. The final selection will be made based on a merit list derived from the total marks obtained across all three stages.

After accurately filling in all the required details, candidates must affix a photograph and submit self-attested copies of the necessary documents.
