Bihar Rojgar Yojana: Good news for the women of Bihar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Bihar Chief Minister Women's Employment Scheme via video conferencing. This initiative of the Bihar government aims to empower women through self-reliance and promote women's empowerment through business and livelihood opportunities. Under this scheme, PM Modi will directly transfer Rs. 10,000 to the bank accounts of 7.5 million women in Bihar.

Under the 'Chief Minister Women's Employment Scheme', led by the Central Government and the Bihar Government, financial assistance will be sent to women to make them self-reliant. Women will also receive additional assistance of up to Rs. 2 lakh. This scheme will provide financial assistance to one woman from every family in the state, enabling them to start a job or livelihood of their choice, promoting economic independence and social empowerment.

How to avail the benefits of this scheme?
Women who are not associated with a self-help group will need to visit the online website mmry.brlps.in/ and fill out the form. If you are already associated with a self-help group, you do not need to apply online.

To start self-employment under the Chief Minister's Women's Employment Scheme, training is required to receive 10,000 rupees from the government. After joining the Jeevika group, you will need to receive training for the work you wish to start. Currently, 14 million women in Bihar are associated with Jeevika self-help groups.
