This information was given in a circular issued on August 12. Earlier, on June 16, 2025, an Expression of Interest (EOI) was sent by EPFO to companies specializing in managing large-scale digital platforms. After reviewing all the applications, EPFO selected TCS, Infosys, and Wipro.
The only purpose of launching EPFO 3.0 is to make it more modern and advanced than before. With its launch, millions of subscribers will get better service from EPFO. Let's see what kind of facilities will be available with its launch.
Auto Claim Settlement - Now the settlement of claims will be done through automated system. This will eliminate the hassle of processing manually. This will make the system faster and more efficient than before.
Online Account Change - With the new app, now you will not need to go to the EPFO office to update account details like name or date of birth, rather users will be able to update it online from home.
PF Withdrawal from ATM - After the claim is approved, subscribers will now be able to withdraw PF money from ATM just like bank transactions.
OTP Verification- With the new update, OTP verification process will now be started in place of the traditional form based process. That is, any change related to the account can be confirmed through OTP (One-Time Password).
Better complaint and pension service- Centralized Pension Payment System (CPPS) has been approved for pension under EPS 1995. With this new system, any pensioner will be able to withdraw pension amount from any branch of any bank in the country.
