Railway Cancelled Trains List: Due to signalling upgrades in the Raipur Division of Chhattisgarh, 10 local trains have been cancelled on various days. This could increase inconvenience for passengers.

Railway Cancelled Trains List: If you live in Chhattisgarh or plan to travel by train in the coming days, this news is important for you. Work is underway to implement automatic signalling between Nipania and Bhatapara stations in the Raipur Division. This will require the Railways to implement a non-interlocking process for a period of time. Consequently, 10 local trains operating in Chhattisgarh have been temporarily cancelled.

All these trains rely on a large number of daily commuters. Therefore, passengers on the Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba, and Gevra Road routes will be directly affected. The Railways says this work will help improve train speed, safety, and line capacity in the future. However, for now, people may have to change their travel plans for two days. See the full list.

According to information received from the Raipur Railway Division, seven passenger trains will not run from December 6th to 7th. Three more trains will be cancelled from December 7th to 8th. This is a major setback for commuters commuting daily to and from work. The Bilaspur-to-Raipur and Korba-to-Raipur routes are heavily congested. This decision has undoubtedly caused inconvenience to thousands of passengers.

Reason for this decision

South East Central Railway says this entire upgrade is being undertaken to strengthen the safety of train operations and increase route capacity. Automatic signaling will make train movements faster and more streamlined in the future. This will not only reduce delays but also allow more trains to run safely on a single track. The Railways stated that after the implementation of the new technology, line capacity will increase and traffic management will also improve.

• Train No. 58205 Raipur–Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose (Itwari) Passenger will be cancelled on December 6–7.
