Railway fare increased, now traveling will be expensive
Railways has increased the fare from July 1. ₹ 1 per kilometer will have to be paid for non-AC mail and express trains and ₹ 2 per kilometer for AC class. Its effect will be seen on long journeys.
Charge will be levied on gaming with credit card
If you spend more than ₹ 10,000 on gaming platforms like Dream11, MPL with HDFC credit card, then now 1% additional fee will be levied on it. That is, online gaming will now be a little more heavy on your pocket.
Charge on loading more than ₹ 10,000 in digital wallet
If you load more than ₹ 10,000 with HDFC credit card in digital wallets like Paytm and Mobikwik, then 1% additional fee will be charged on that too. This rule will affect those who make heavy transactions.
You will have to pay extra charge even on paying utility bills
Now if utility bills like electricity, water and gas are above ₹ 50,000, then an additional charge of 1% will be levied on the payment. This change will directly affect big houses and corporate users.
Extra charge will be levied on fuel expenses
If you spend more than ₹ 15,000 on petrol or diesel in a month and make payment through HDFC credit card, then now you will have to pay 1% charge on this too.
Credit card bill payment can now be done only through BBPS
RBI has now made credit card bill payment mandatory through BBPS (Bharat Bill Payment System). All apps like PhonePe, Paytm, CRED will now be connected to this platform. This will increase transparency in transactions.
ICICI Bank's new charge on ATM withdrawal
A new rule is being implemented for ICICI Bank customers. If you withdraw money from another bank's ATM more than 3 times in a month, then you will have to pay ₹23 transaction fee every time. ₹8.5 charge has been fixed on non-financial transactions.
Aadhaar is mandatory for making PAN card
Now you will get a new PAN card only if you have an Aadhaar card. PAN will not be allotted without Aadhaar number. This will reduce the possibility of duplicate and fake PAN.
No fuel for old vehicles in Delhi-NCR
10 year old diesel and 15 year old petrol vehicles in Delhi-NCR region will no longer get fuel from petrol pumps. This step has been taken for the purpose of pollution control.
