Before the 24th installment of PM Kisan, check whether your e-KYC is complete..
The date for the 24th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been announced. This installment is scheduled to be released on November 30th; however, you must complete four essential tasks beforehand, or your installment could get stuck. Under the PM Kisan scheme, funds will be transferred to the accounts of over 93 million (9.3 crore) beneficiaries across the country, with more than 22.5 million (2.25 crore) beneficiaries in Uttar Pradesh alone. To ensure there are no interruptions in receiving the 24th installment, please complete these tasks immediately. If any previous installments are still pending, those amounts will also be credited to your bank account along with the upcoming installment.
First, check your beneficiary status (for the 24th PM Kisan installment):
1. Visit the official PM Kisan website (pmkisan.gov.in).
2. Go to the 'Farmers Corner' tab and click on 'Know Your Status'.
3. Enter your registration number, Aadhaar number, or mobile number, along with the captcha code, and proceed.
4. The screen will display 'Yes' or 'No' against 'e-KYC', 'Aadhaar-Bank Account Linking', and 'Land Seeding'.
1. Update your details based on your status:
If 'e-KYC' shows 'No' or 'Pending', you will not receive the installment. e-KYC is mandatory for all PM Kisan beneficiaries. Click on the 'e-KYC' option on the PM Kisan portal and complete the process by entering your Aadhaar number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number. You can also complete this via the PM-KISAN mobile app using face authentication (scanning your face) or by visiting a Common Service Centre (CSC) for biometric fingerprint authentication.
2. Check your 'Land Seeding' status:
If the verification of your land records (linked to your Aadhaar and bank account) is not complete on the official PM Kisan portal, ensure it is done immediately. Take your land documents—such as the *Khasra-Khatauni* or *Jamabandi*—along with your Aadhaar card to your local *Lekhpal* (revenue official), *Patwari*, or the *Tehsil* office to get your records updated.
3. Aadhaar-Bank Account Linking Must Be 'Yes'
For the direct transfer of funds (DBT) into your bank account, it is mandatory to have your bank account linked with your Aadhaar and mapped via the NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India). Visit your bank and request them to link your account with your Aadhaar and ensure it is activated for NPCI. If you face any issues, you may also open a separate bank account specifically for DBT purposes.
4. Discrepancy in Name Spelling (Aadhaar vs. Registration)
If there is even a slight difference in the spelling of your name as it appears on your Aadhaar card compared to the name registered under the PM-Kisan scheme, your payment may be withheld. Use the 'correction' option available on the portal to rectify your records, or contact your local Tehsil office.
Seek Assistance via the Helpline
If the portal shows 'Yes' for all three criteria, yet you have still not received the funds, please lodge a complaint by calling the helpline number.
