The Jharkhand government presented the budget for the financial year 2025-26 in the state assembly on Monday, March 3. Now after the presentation of this budget, Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore said in the assembly that I am presenting a budget of Rs 1.45 lakh crore for the financial year 2025-26 in the House. Now with this budget, the discussion of Mainiya Samman Yojana has also intensified in Jharkhand. Now speculations are being made that soon Rs 7500 will be transferred to the accounts of women of Jharkhand. For a long time, these questions were being raised as to when the money of the scheme would be transferred. The Finance Minister was also questioned in the assembly regarding this.

When will the money come into the accounts of the women of Jharkhand?

Let us tell you that the government in Jharkhand has kept a budget of Rs 13,363 crore for the Mainiya Samman Yojana in the year 2025-26. Also, Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore has assured to give the benefits of the scheme to the eligible women. The Finance Minister said that before Holi i.e. before March 14, the installment of 3 months of Mainiya Samman Yojana will be deposited in the account of eligible women in the form of Rs 7500. It is worth noting that the eligible women of the state have been waiting for the money of the scheme for a long time.

The amount of Mainiya Samman Yojana was increased by Rs 1500

The Finance Minister answered many questions in the Legislative Assembly. The Finance Minister clarified that there is no shortage of money to run the public welfare schemes. When asked about the amount of Mainiya Samman Yojana, the Finance Minister said that there were some technical problems behind the non-deposit of money. Let us tell you that the amount of the scheme was earlier Rs 1000 which was increased to Rs 2500 by the government. This scheme aims to make women financially independent. This scheme fulfills their basic needs and also promotes women's empowerment.
