Bank Holidays in November 2025: The Dussehra, Dhanteras, and Diwali holidays are over, and the month of October is over. Now it's November. Banks will be closed for a total of 11 days this month, including Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays. Therefore, if you're planning to complete any important bank-related work this month, it's crucial to know which days banks will be closed.

According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) calendar, banks will be closed in many places in November due to festivals. Except for these, normal operations are continuing in all other states. However, despite bank branch closures, customers will be able to transact money, make bill payments, check balances, and more using digital services like net banking, mobile banking, UPI, and ATMs. Let's take a look at the November bank holiday list:

  • November 1 - All public and private banks in Karnataka will be closed on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava. On this day in 1956, the state of Karnataka was formed by combining all the Kannada-speaking regions of South India. All banks in Dehradun will also be closed on this day as Igas-Baghwal, also known as Budhi Deepawali, will be celebrated here.
  • November 5 - Banks will be closed on this day in Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, and Srinagar due to festivals like Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kartik Purnima, and Rahas Purnima.
  • November 6 - Banks will be closed in Shillong on the occasion of the Nongkrem Dance.
  • November 7 - All banks in Shillong will also be closed on this day to commemorate the Wangala Festival.
  • November 8 - Banks will be closed in Bengaluru on the occasion of Kanakadasa Jayanti. This day is dedicated to the poet and social reformer Sri Kanakadasa.
  • November 11 - Banks will be closed in Sikkim on account of Lhabab Duchen, a significant Buddhist holiday.

  • Banks will be closed across the country on November 2 (Sunday), November 8 (second Saturday), and November 9 (Sunday).
  • Banks will also be closed on November 16 (Sunday) and November 22 (fourth Saturday).
