If you also have an account in the State Bank of India or Kotak Mahindra Bank, then today's news is especially for you. Both banks are going to temporarily close some of their digital banking services this week due to maintenance, which means you will not be able to use these services for some time.

SBI Maintenance: Date and Time

The affected services of SBI include digital services like UPI (Unified Payments Interface), YONO, IMPS, Automated Teller Machine (ATM), Retail Internet Banking (RINB), Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS), and National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT). All these digital services will be temporarily unavailable for use between 1:05 am and 2:10 am on July 16, 2025.

However, during this period, customers have been advised to use UPI Lite. State Bank of India has shared a post from the official X account that the services will be available for use again at 2:10.

UPI Lite is a payment system designed to process small transactions (amount less than Rs 500) quickly and easily. Let us explain to you how to activate UPI Lite. Suppose you use Google Pay, first you have to open the app. After opening the app, you will see the Activate UPI Lite option. You can activate UPI Lite by clicking on this option and filling in the required information.

Kotak Mahindra Bank Maintenance: When will the services be closed?

According to the report of Economic Times, if you have a bank account in Kotak Bank, then NEFT through mobile banking and net banking from 12 am to 2 am on July 17 and 18, net banking, UPI and mobile banking from 12 am to 2 am on July 20 and 21, payment gateway service will not work from 12 am to 3 am on July 20 and 21. If you have any important transactions, then do them in advance.
