If you need to complete any important bank-related tasks in July, be sure to check the list of bank holidays first. Banks across the country will remain closed for a total of 12 days next month across various states and cities. This includes four Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays, and holidays for six local festivals and special occasions. However, these six additional holidays will not apply uniformly across all states; banks will remain closed only in the specific states and cities observing them.

**Banks to remain closed nationwide on these Saturdays**
According to Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, all public and private sector banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. In July, these dates are:

July 11 (Second Saturday) and July 25 (Fourth Saturday)

All bank branches across the country will remain closed on these two days.

**When are the Sunday holidays in July?**
Banks will also remain closed for four days due to Sundays.

These dates are:

July 5, July 12, July 19, and July 26

Banking operations will not take place at branches across the country on these four days.

**Banks to remain closed on local holidays as well**
In July, banks will also remain closed in several states due to local festivals, religious events, and regional occasions. These holidays will not be the same across all states. Therefore, if you plan to avail banking services in another state, make sure to check that state's bank holiday list beforehand.

**Online banking services will remain operational**
Despite bank branches being closed, customers will not face significant inconvenience. Services such as internet banking, mobile banking, UPI, NEFT, RTGS (subject to scheduled timings), and ATMs will remain available as usual. These services will allow for the easy completion of most tasks, such as money transfers, bill payments, balance checks, and cash withdrawals.

**Complete important tasks in advance**
If you need to deposit a cheque, get a demand draft made, update your KYC, access a locker, or avail of any other essential banking service that requires a branch visit, plan ahead while keeping the holidays in mind. This will ensure you do not face any inconvenience due to bank closures.
