The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the bank holiday list for January 2026.  Due to festivals and events in different states, there will be a total of 10 bank holidays this month. If we add the 2 Saturdays and 4 Sundays, banks will be closed for a total of 16 days in January.

You can complete many banking tasks from the comfort of your home. However, for tasks like check clearance, cash deposit, or passbook updates, you will have to wait for the branch to reopen.
