In the last month of the year i.e. December, banks will remain closed for more than half the days. Yes, banks will remain closed due to national and local holidays in different parts of the country. According to the RBI Bank Holiday Calendar, there will be 17 bank holidays in different states of the country. In December, Goa Mukti December will be there. December Bank Holidays 2024
In December, banks will remain closed in different states of the country on the occasion of St. Francis Xavier's Feast, Pa-Togan Nengminja Sangma, Death Anniversary of U Soso Tham, Goa Liberation Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas, Christmas Celebration, U Kiang Nangbah and New Year's Eve. According to the RBI website, all scheduled and non-scheduled banks in the country will remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays.
