Banks will remain closed for a total of 10 days in June, including 5 Sundays and 2 Saturdays, when regular banking work will not be possible. The first bank holiday in June is on June 2, which is a Sunday. Talking about festivals, banks will remain closed in Aizawl and Bhubaneswar on June 15 due to Raj Sankranti. Banks across the country will remain closed on June 17 due to Bakrid / Eid-ul-Azha.
In Jammu and Srinagar, the Bakrid holiday is extended by two more days, so banks will remain closed on June 18 as well.
