August 8, Second Saturday (Tendong Lho Rum Faat & Second Saturday): Banks in Sikkim will remain closed due to 'Tendong Lho Rum Faat' (a major festival of the Lepcha tribe). Additionally, as it is the second Saturday of the month, there will be a national holiday for all banks—including State Bank of India, HDFC, ICICI, and PNB—across the country.
August 9, Sunday: All bank branches across the country will remain closed due to the regular weekly Sunday holiday.

August 13 (Thursday): Banks will remain closed only in Manipur on the occasion of Patriots' Day.
August 15 (Saturday): There will be a national holiday across the country to mark Independence Day.
