The central bank of the country i.e. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) prepares the holiday list for all the banks of the country. This list is prepared to keep in mind weekly holidays, regional festivals, and national holidays. Bank holidays are on different days in all states. In such a situation, the customer is advised to go to the bank only after checking the bank holiday list.

Although there are 10 days left for September to end. In such a situation, if you are also planning to go to the bank this month, then let us tell you that from tomorrow i.e. September 20, there will be a bank holiday for 4 consecutive days. This holiday will be different in every city. These holidays also include weekly holidays of the bank.

Bank weekly holiday
According to RBI, all the banks in the country will remain closed on Sundays. Apart from this, there will be no work in the bank on the second to fourth Saturdays of the month.

Which city's banks will remain closed?

According to RBI's bank holiday list-
Banks of Jammu and Srinagar will remain closed on September 20. Banks are closed on this day due to Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.

On September 21, banks in Kerala will remain closed on the occasion of Sri Narayana Guru Samadhi Diwas.

September 22 is Sunday, i.e. bank's weekly holiday. All banks will remain closed on this day.

On the occasion of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji's birthday, banks in Jammu and Srinagar will remain closed on September 23.

Apart from this, all banks in the country will remain closed on September 28 and September 29 due to weekly holidays.
