Bank Holiday July 2026: Banks to remain closed for 12 days in July; check your state's holiday list..
If you have any important bank-related work next month, this information will be very useful to you. Banks across the country will remain closed for a total of 12 days on various dates in July. These holidays include weekly offs as well as local festivals and special occasions specific to different states. Therefore, if you plan to visit the bank next month to complete any important tasks, it is advisable to do so well in advance or check the holiday list before heading out. You wouldn't want to arrive at the branch only to find it closed and have to return empty-handed.
It is important to note that the Reserve Bank (RBI) holiday calendar is not uniform across the entire country. While some holidays are observed nationwide, others are restricted to local festivals in specific states. For instance, banks in Odisha will remain closed on July 16 due to Rath Yatra, whereas banks in Uttar Pradesh or Maharashtra will remain open.
