Banks will remain closed on 3 October 2024 due to Sharadiya Navratri and Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti. Banks are going to remain closed only in Rajasthan. Rest, bank branches will remain open in all the states. Sharadiya Navratri is a major Hindu festival, which is celebrated with the worship of Maa Durga. Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti is also celebrated on the same day, which is celebrated in the memory of Maharaja Agrasen, the founder of the Agrawal community. Bank branches will remain closed during this holiday, but online banking services will continue to be available.
