Bank Holiday: We are in the final week of June, and banks will be open for only four days during this period. Banks will remain closed for three consecutive days towards the end of the week; here are the dates.

Bank Holiday: The month of June is drawing to a close, and its final week has begun. If you have any banking tasks to complete, finish them immediately, as only a few days remain. Banks will be closed for three consecutive days during this final week of June. Let us look at the specific dates when the banks will remain closed.

When will banks be closed?

The month of June is in its final stretch. Today is June 23rd, leaving only seven days in the month; three of these days are holidays. Consequently, you have only four days available to attend to banking matters. Here is when and why the banks will remain closed:

Muharram will be observed in Andhra Pradesh on June 25th; therefore, banks will be closed in that specific region on this day.
Additionally, June 26th (Friday) marks a Muharram holiday in various states across the country, so banks will remain closed on this day as well.
June 27th (Saturday) is the fourth Saturday of the month—a scheduled holiday—meaning banks will be closed on this day too.
Banks will also remain closed on June 28th (Sunday). Thus, you must complete any banking-related work within the remaining four available days.

Services that will remain operational

Please note that while various bank branches will remain closed during these days, online services will continue to function smoothly. You can still withdraw cash from ATMs, make UPI payments, and handle net banking tasks without interruption. However, if you need to visit the branch to carry out any task, you will have to do so on the remaining dates: June 24, 25, 29, and 30.
