Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, free treatment up to ₹5 lakh is provided to those in need. Under this scheme, one family member or the entire family together can avail free treatment up to ₹5 lakh. The Uttar Pradesh government is running a campaign to ensure that the benefits of this scheme reach all those in need.

Under this campaign, Ayushman cards will be provided to all those in need. This campaign is running until December 25th. Under this campaign, Asha workers, school teachers, etc., will assist in making cards. Let's learn how you can apply for an Ayushman card.

How to Apply?

Step 1. First, you need to visit the official website.

Step 2. Now, go to the Ayushman Bharat Beneficiary portal and click on Beneficiary.

Step 2. Now, enter your Aadhaar-registered mobile number and the provided captcha code. Then, click on Generate OTP.

Step 3. Now, you need to select the state and district. Next, you'll need to check your eligibility for the card using your Aadhaar number. Here, you'll see the family and card status.

Step 4. If the card status is "Not-Generated," you can apply for the card by clicking "Apply Now."

Step 5. Now, you'll need to enter personal details like name, date of birth, and family information. You'll also need to upload a scanned copy of your Aadhaar, ration card, or other relevant documents.

Step 6. Finally, you'll need to verify your identity. To do this, generate an Aadhaar OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. After submitting this OTP, review your details and complete the Ayushman Card application process.

Who can't get an Ayushman Card?
The Ayushman Card is specifically designed for the poor. Therefore, those who work in the organized sector or those who pay their taxes on time will not be able to avail of this card.

Additionally, if you are a recipient of ESIC benefits or have PF deducted from your salary, you will not be eligible for the scheme.

Also, if you have a government job or are financially capable, you are not eligible for this scheme.
