NPCI advised to avoid digital payment fraud

During festivals, people shop fiercely due to attractive offers and discounts. In this competition, many times users forget to check the validity of the platform. NPCI has advised users to do proper research about sellers whose business is not reliable.

According to NPCI, people's shopping tendency increases during festivals. Customers are not able to remember what they have ordered, which increases the chances of falling prey to phishing fraud. In such a situation, it is advised to double-check the payment link to avoid fake delivery changes. Apart from this, users have been asked to use strong passwords to protect their accounts from hacking.

NPCI has requested citizens and users to be cautious before making purchases and do not click on such platforms which you have not heard of. Also, do not share too much personal information on these platforms. NPCI has advised users to avoid using unsecured public networks like Wi-Fi in shopping malls.
