Auto Top-Up Feature- Your Paytm Wallet will be recharged automatically, know its complete details
Today's digital age has seen a significant increase in digital transactions, and UPI (Unified Payments Interface) has become one of the most popular payment methods. Paytm has launched a new feature aimed at simplifying daily microtransactions - UPI Lite Auto Top-Up. This new functionality promises to make small-value payments more seamless and hassle-free, let's know the complete details about it.
What is UPI Lite Auto Top-Up?
Paytm's UPI Lite Auto Top-Up feature allows UPI Lite users to set a minimum wallet balance. When the balance in the Paytm wallet falls below this set amount, Paytm automatically recharges the wallet from the linked bank account - without the need for any PIN or OTP. This feature is designed to make microtransactions easier. Let's know how it works-
Set minimum balance: Users can set a minimum wallet balance in their Paytm UPI Lite account.
Automatic recharge: When the wallet balance falls below this limit, Paytm will automatically recharge the wallet by transferring up to Rs 500 from the linked bank account.
Flexibility in recharge: Users have the option to choose their reload amount, but it cannot exceed Rs 2,000 per day.
Ideal for small, everyday payments
Recharging a metro or bus card
Paying for an auto ride or taxi
Buying tea, coffee, snacks, or any small daily expenses
This ensures that users do not have to worry about insufficient balance while making small purchases, as the Paytm UPI Lite wallet will always be ready to pay.
