Audio Overviews: Google Search is now more fun, AI will read the results aloud..

In the last few months, Google has rapidly integrated AI technology into its search engine. Now the company has launched a new feature Audio Overviews, which allows results to be heard in voice for select search queries. This new feature is powered by Google's Gemini models and is currently available under Google Labs, a platform where users can test new features coming from Google.
What is an Audio Overview?
Google says that this feature provides users with 30 to 45 seconds of podcast-style explaining audio. This is especially useful for those who are multitasking or who have a preference for taking information in audio format. The audio is also accompanied by an interactive player, which also provides links to related web pages so that users can get more information or fact-check if they want.
How to use it?
First, go to labs.google.com.
Turn on the Audio Overviews experiment from the page there.
This feature will not work for every search, but only for some specific search queries.
For example, if you search "how do noise-canceling headphones work", then scroll down on the result page, you will see the "Generate Audio Overview" button. After clicking on this button, Google will prepare an audio clip in about 40 seconds.
Other features of the feature
The audio player has a play/pause, volume control and mute button.
The speed can be adjusted from 0.25x to 2x.
The audio consists of a conversation between two AI hosts, who provide information on the search topic in simple language.
This feature is available on both mobile and desktop but is currently limited to US users only.
This feature is a big step towards making Google Search more interactive and user-friendly.
