The popularity of the Arattai app is growing every day. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to adopt indigenous versions of everyday apps on September 21st, people have begun adopting indigenous versions of everyday apps. As a result, the number of daily downloads of the Arattai app has increased from 3,000 to 350,000. The company is now preparing its services to handle this sudden increase in load.

Despite this, many people are experiencing problems migrating to the indigenous version of WhatsApp. People are unable to find their acquaintances on the app, and their chats with them remain on WhatsApp. Let's explain how you can invite your friends and family to the Arratai app and how you can transfer your WhatsApp chats to the Arratai app. Both are very easy; let's understand the process.

What is the Arattai app?

Arattai is also a messaging app that can be considered an Indian version of WhatsApp. The trend of adopting indigenous apps began when, following the Prime Minister's call, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav suggested shifting to Zoho for official work. It's worth noting that the Arattai app is also owned by Zoho. The founder of Chennai-based Zoho is Sridhar Vembu. The Arattai app is one of the many Zoho apps developed by this Indian company. Zoho also offers several other tools, including Arattai, that are used by many large companies to run their operations.

How to Invite Friends on Arattai
If you want to use Arattai but can't replace WhatsApp because a friend or family member isn't already on the app, the Arattai app offers the ability to invite acquaintances.

First, log in to the app using your mobile number. The process is similar to logging in to WhatsApp. After installing the app, enter your number, verify it via OTP, and log in. If you're logging in for the first time, you'll need to enter some details, such as your name.

Next, tap the menu on the left side of the app and tap Contacts. If prompted, grant Arattai access to all your contacts. This is necessary so the app can check which of your contacts are already on the app.

After granting access to contacts, your contacts will appear. However, if you want to invite someone to the app, you'll find the Invite Friend option at the top of the contacts. After tapping this option, you'll have two options. First, you can search for your contact's name in the search bar and invite them to Arattai via SMS. Your contact will receive a link to download Arrattai via SMS.

Or, you can tap Share Arrattai and invite your contact to join Arrattai using another app.

Transfer WhatsApp Chats
Once your contacts are on the Arrattai app, you can transfer your WhatsApp chats with them to the Arrattai app in a few simple steps. To do this, you need to:

Go to the chat with that person on WhatsApp.
After going to the chat, tap the three-dot menu in the top right and tap More.
Then select the Export Chats option.
You will then be asked to select the app from where you want to transfer your chats from a selection of apps.
Select the Arattai app here and select the contact you chatted with on WhatsApp in the Arrattai app.
Your chats will then begin transferring, and within a short time, you'll be able to see all your WhatsApp chats with that person on the Arratai app.
In this way, you can transfer as many old chats as you want from WhatsApp to the Arratai app.
