Delhi Traffic Advisory: An IPL match between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Gujarat Titans (GT) is scheduled to take place in Delhi on April 8, 2026. This match will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium; consequently, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory. As a result of the IPL match, heavy traffic is anticipated in the areas surrounding the stadium between 7:00 PM and 10:30 PM. If you are planning to attend this exciting IPL match, please ensure you read the traffic advisory issued by the police before leaving your home.

**Traffic Diversions and Restrictions on These Routes**
According to the advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police, traffic diversions or restrictions may be in effect on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and JLN Marg from 12:00 PM (noon) to 12:00 AM (midnight) on April 8. Furthermore, the movement of any heavy or commercial vehicles will not be permitted on BSZ Marg and JLN Marg.

**How ​​to Enter the Stadium**
For entry into the stadium, visitors heading to Gates 1 through 8 (located on the South side) must approach via BSZ Marg. For Gates 10 through 15 (located on the East side), please use JLN Marg, which is situated near the Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal. Meanwhile, for Gates 16 through 18 (located on the West side), entry can be accessed via BSZ Marg, specifically through the route located near the petrol pump.

**Routes to Avoid**
The Delhi Police has advised commuters to avoid the following routes: JLN Marg (from Rajghat to Delhi Gate—both carriageways), Asaf Ali Road (from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate), and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (from Delhi Gate to ITO).

**Parking Facilities**
Parking facilities for visitors are available on Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road, and Velodrome Road. Please note that this parking is free of charge, and a "Park-and-Ride" facility is also available at these locations. Additionally, parking near the stadium itself will be permitted only for vehicles displaying official labels. All parking labels must contain complete information regarding the vehicle and the driver.
