The MSBSHSE has commenced the application process for the HSC February-March 2027 board exams. Regular Class 12 students can fill out the exam forms via the SARAL system.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has initiated the application process for the HSC February-March 2027 board exams. Regular Class 12 students can submit their exam forms through the SARAL system. To do so, they must use the PFN-ID generated during the previous academic year.

Who is eligible to apply?

The application process for the Maharashtra HSC 2027 exams covers regular students as well as other eligible candidates. In addition to regular Class 12 students, repeater students, private candidates holding an enrollment certificate, eligible vocational students, and candidates from other designated categories may apply. For regular students, data will be retrieved from the FYJC online system by the board during the form-filling process. However, students from the MCVC and ITI streams whose details are not available on the FYJC system must provide their information to the respective divisional board. Students possessing an APAAR ID are also required to enter it while filling out the application form.

Opportunity to apply beyond October 31

The Maharashtra Board launched the application process on August 14, and applications can be submitted without a late fee until October 31. An opportunity is also available for students applying after the board's initial deadline, though a late fee will apply. Students can apply with a late fee from November 1 to November 15, 2026. Those who fail to apply by then will get another chance to submit their forms—subject to an additional late fee—between November 16 and November 30, 2026.

Points to Consider When Uploading Photos

Students must upload a recent color passport-sized photograph with their HSC 2027 application form. The board has laid down specific requirements for the photograph: it must be in JPG format and between 25 KB and 40 KB in size. The photo must have been taken within the last six months, and the student's face—including both eyes and ears—must be clearly visible. Students are advised to ensure the uploaded photo complies with the prescribed standards regarding background appearance and image quality.

Important Advice for Students

Class 12 students must use the PFN-ID issued during the previous academic year when applying through the SARAL system. After completing the application process, students must verify the information entered in the form before submitting it.
