The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued a very important notice regarding the Probationary Officer (PO) and Specialist Officer (SO) Recruitment Examination, 2025. The last date to apply for both these recruitment exams is July 28, but the institute has suggested that the candidates apply and pay before the last date to avoid any server load-related problems. The notice has been released on the official website. Interested candidates can check the notice by visiting the official website ibps.in.

In a separate notice, IBPS said that the candidates of PO and SO examination will get two days to make amendments in their forms after the application process is over. This window will open on July 31 and close on August 1.

"Candidates will be allowed to make corrections and resubmit the revised/corrected application only once during the 'Edit window for making corrections/corrections in the application form', i.e. if any mistake is made by the candidate in the revised application, he/she will not be allowed to update it. Before submitting the revised application, candidates must check that they have filled in the correct details in each section of the form."

The application form correction fee for IBPS PO and SO 2025 is ₹200 for all categories of candidates and is non-refundable. After the candidate makes the corrections and submits the application form, all the entries made in the application form will be considered final.

Vacancies

More than 6,000 vacancies (5208 Probationary Officer and 1007 Specialist Officer vacancies) will be filled through this recruitment drive.

Application Fee?

The application fee is ₹175 for SC, ST and PWD category candidates and ₹850 for all other candidates.

The selection process will consist of a preliminary exam, a main exam and an interview. Interested candidates can check the detailed notification available on the official website.
